A roundup of free meals and discounts on Veterans Day
Here is a list of some of the restaurants across the country that are offering free meals or discounts to all veterans and active duty members on Veterans Day, November 11.
Check with your local outlets to make sure they are participating in the offering and what proof of service they require. Some offer discounts to veterans, but not to their family members.
If your favorite spot isn’t on the list, check with the restaurant anyway to make sure they don’t offer Veterans Day discounts or free food. Many do.
And enjoy the bennies! Whether you’ve served in a desk job in CONUS or in close quarters combat in the sandbox, you’ve earned them.
Applebee’s – Applebee’s is offering active duty military and veterans a free meal from a selected menu on Veterans Day. Bring proof of service. See the Applebee website for details.
Bob evans – On November 11, Bob Evans will be offering veterans and active duty members a special menu of seven favorite house dishes free of charge. Dinner only, drinks not included. Proof of military service required.
Bombshells Restaurant & Bar – Active military personnel and their accompanying family members will benefit from a 20% discount. Proof of service required.
BJ’s restaurant and brasserie – BJ’s is offering a free meal from a selected menu and a Dr Pepper drink to all current military personnel and veterans with proof of service.
Wild buffalo wings – On Veterans Day, participating Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants will offer 10 free boneless and fried chicken wings to all veterans and active duty members. Eat or take away, but military ID required.
Californian pizza cuisine – Veterans and serving military members receive free entry and drink when they dine and show proof of service on November 11. Plus, all veterans who dine with California Pizza Kitchen will receive a BOGO, redeemable November 12-20.
Breeders – On Veterans Day, Cattlemen’s offers an 8-ounce Sirloin Steak Dinner with sides to current or former military personnel at participating locations. Military ID or proof of service required.
Chili’s – Chili’s will offer a free meal from a selected menu on Veterans Day with proof of military service. Available only in restaurants.
Carving house – Veterans and active military personnel receive a 50% reduction on any entry with a valid military ID on November 11. Dinner only. Call your local Chop House ahead of time if you have questions about your Veterans Day discount, or visit the Chop House website for details.
Cotton Patch Coffee – All veterans and serving military personnel are offered a free chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken on November 11. Call your local Cotton Patch Café in advance if you have questions about your Veterans Day discount.
Country kitchen – Active and retired military members receive a free Country Scramble on November 11 at participating locations. Dining room only.
Cracker Barrel – Veterans and Military alike will receive a complimentary slice of Coca-Cola Double Chocolate Fudge Cake, with purchase, in-store and online with promo code VETSDAY21.
Denny’s – Veterans and active military personnel get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam on November 11 from 5 a.m. to noon. Dining room only.
Dunkin Donuts – On Veterans Day, veterans and active duty members can receive a free donut while supplies last. Please note that not all Dunkin ‘locations will participate.
Golden Corral – Golden Corral is hosting its Military Appreciation Night on November 11 from 5 p.m. to closing. This includes a free thank you meal when you dine there. Consult the local point of sale for details.
by Fazoli – Fazoli’s is offering veterans a free regular spaghetti with meat or marinara on November 10 and 11 at participating establishments.
I JUMP – Veterans and active duty members are offered free red, white and blue pancakes on November 11 upon presentation of military ID or proof of service.
Krispy kreme – Krispy Kreme is giving military and veterans a free donut of choice and small brewed coffee at participating stores.
Little Caesar – On Veterans Day from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., veterans and serving military personnel can receive a complimentary lunch combo, which includes four slices of Little Caesars Detroit-style deep-dish pizza, accompanied by a 20 oz Pepsi product.
Logan’s truck stop – Logan’s Roadhouse will be offering all veterans a free Roadhouse American Meal from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on November 11.
Steak House Longhorn – Longhorn Steakhouse is offering veterans 10% off their entire meal and a free appetizer or dessert on Veterans Day.
Lucille’s barbecue – Veterans and active duty military members receive a complimentary Lucille Original Pulled Pork Sandwich and side dish on November 11. Must show proof of service.
McCormick & Schmick’s – Veterans, Gold Star parents and Gold Star spouses can receive half price entree from a special menu on Sunday, November 7 at McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants. Please contact your nearest branch for details.
Miller’s Ale House – Military and veterans get 50% off the entry of their choice with proof of service on November 11.
BBQ Mission – Veterans and active duty military receive a free sandwich on November 11
O’Charley’s – Veterans and active duty members can get a free meal – valued at $ 10 – from a special menu at participating O’Charley’s establishments on November 11 with military ID or proof of service.
Olive garden – Active duty military members and Veterans Day veterans can get a free meal, which includes a starter from a special Veterans Day menu, as well as unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks at garlic to complete the meal.
Outback Steakhouse – Active members and veterans alike can receive a Bloomin ‘Onion or Coca-Cola product free of charge. A 10% discount on meals is offered to military personnel as well as nurses, doctors, medical personnel, police and firefighters.
Robin – Veterans and active duty military members who are members of Red Robin Royalty are offered a complimentary Double Tavern Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries anytime through November 14 for dinner in or take out. Visit the Red Robin website for details.
red lobster – Servicemen on active duty, veterans and reservists can receive a free appetizer or dessert on November 11.
Sheetz – On November 11, Sheetz will offer all veterans and active-duty military personnel a free half-turkey submarine and a full-size fountain drink. Sheetz locations that offer car washes will also provide a free car wash for veterans and active-duty military personnel. Military ID or proof of service must be presented.
Shoney’s – Veterans and active duty members receive a free all-you-can-eat, freshly cooked breakfast on November 11 until 11 a.m. Dining room only.
Texas roadhouse – Texas Roadhouse will be handing out dinner vouchers in store parking lots on November 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Veterans and active-duty military personnel can redeem their dinner vouchers when the dinner restaurant opens, until May 30, 2022.
TGI Fridays – On Veterans Day, TGI Fridays offers a free selected lunch for dinner only (not valid for online, take-out or delivery purchases) at participating locations with valid military ID between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. h, local time.
Canteen service for veterans – Veterans Canteen Service locations honor Veterans with a free coffee or fountain drink on November 11.
Wendy’s – Wendy’s offers military and veterans free breakfast with valid military ID or Veterans Advantage card from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Veterans Day.
