Presented by Motor Cars LA – For sale at Motor Cars LA, this superb 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Resto-mod is presented in immaculate condition. Originally acquired by the previous owner with the intention of producing a clone for one of his first cars, no expense was spared to build an absolutely eye-catching Camaro RS that performs as well as it does. the air.
The original donor vehicle was completely dismantled to bare metal and rebuilt using only the best parts available. A complete file is provided with the sale which details the construction in great detail, as well as a photographic catalog from the purchase of the vehicle from the donor to the realization.
This vehicle uses an LS9 (6.2L / 376ci) supercharged engine which has been bench tested by Addiction Motorsports to be capable of delivering maximum power of 563 hp at 6360 rpm (to the rear wheels) and torque of 527 lb-ft at 4,420 rpm. This LS9 supercharged engine uses a dry sump oil system. The estimated power at the steering wheel is around 700hp.
A Chevrolet Performance clutch kit and Chevrolet Performance Super Magnum bell housing are associated with this engine. The transmission is a 6-speed Chevrolet Performance Super Magnum manual transmission.
The chassis was replaced with a Chassisworks frame by Chris Alston which features Wilwood 6 piston disc brakes, aluminum tandem master cylinder, Wilwood universal parking brake, g-Machine bolt-on front clip, rack-and-pinion steering and sprocket, a splined g-bar– End stabilizer bar, g-Machine lower A-arms, Varishock Quickset 2 coil springs, Tremec T-56 Magnum driveline cross member, FAB9 axles, g-Link 4-slash rear suspension, arms upper triangular g-Machine and fluted anti-roll bar for chassis.
